Bayern Munich Set to Disregard Harry Kane Deadline with Another Monumental Transfer Bid

Bayern Munich, the renowned German football powerhouse, appears poised to challenge the resilience of Tottenham Hotspur by persisting with their pursuit of Harry Kane.

Despite having recently put forth what was termed a 'final' proposition last Friday, which Spurs promptly rebuffed, Bayern Munich is preparing to extend their efforts.

The scenario unfolded on Monday, when news surfaced that Tottenham Hotspur had dismissed a third offer from the Bundesliga titleholders. This rejection follows their previous spurns of Bayern's initial two bids in June and July.

The most recent proposal, submitted just days ago, was believed to carry a value in the vicinity of £86 million.

While it was touted as Bayern's conclusive endeavor, accompanied by a deadline for Spurs' response over the weekend, emerging reports from talkSPORT indicate that the German club will test Tottenham's determination anew.

A fourth bid for the services of the English captain is in the works, anticipated to hold a valuation of approximately £94 million.

Nonetheless, this sum remains £6 million short of Daniel Levy's estimation for his prized asset. The Tottenham chairman has garnered a reputation as a resolute negotiator, harking back to when he firmly upheld a £150 million valuation during Manchester City's prior interest two years ago.

Conversely, Bayern Munich's persistent bids to secure the 30-year-old striker reflect their eagerness to acquire a premier forward ahead of the upcoming season. The absence of a bona fide No.9 took a toll on the Bavarian club during the previous campaign following the departure of Robert Lewandowski.

Harry Kane, whose contract is set to conclude next summer, purportedly reached a personal agreement with Bayern in June. Publicly, he has articulated his aspiration to clinch trophies, an ambition that has eluded him thus far in his career despite appearances in the finals of the Champions League and Carabao Cup.

Remarkably, Kane has refrained from pursuing a transfer actively. His involvement in Spurs' tour of Australia and Singapore saw him lead Ange Postecoglou's squad in all three pre-season friendly matches.

As the Tottenham manager presses for a resolution to the ongoing situation, the forward has been in stellar form, exemplified by his remarkable four-goal performance in the resounding 5-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.
